Insulated Roof Construction
Aluminum Designs uses Elite 3″ Insulated Roof System. Therefore, this roof is the perfect roof for sunrooms. The way these panels lock together is the key to the strength and superior building performance found in every insulated enclosure. The exclusive dual-layer premium paint finish resists scratching, corrosion and fading. Color to choose from is Bronze, White, Ivory, and Clay. We can hang ceiling fans and lights from the insulated panels due to a hidden interior aluminum beam. As a result, you have a continuous smooth ceiling. We use our own proprietary methods to seal the roof panels for the best results. Our flashing is custom-made aluminum flashing broke on-site and properly installed to make sure the water is draining away from the shingles and toward the ground.
In the 3″ insulated wall system, all sunroom glass windows & doors are recessed in the wall. As a result, it has a complete, finished interior trim. All windows and doors are offered in a wide selection to fit your wants and needs. The glass can come tempered, energy-star rated, or a Low-E coating. The glass can come in clear or tinted. So, there are options when you choose a sunroom. Maintenance and yearly clean-up are a breeze, no painting. The sunroom windows featured in the photo below are horizontal slide windows with a screen on the operating panel.
