Hiring Aluminum Designs for our shed and patio construction.
Hiring Aluminum Designs was easy. I needed a contractor to construct a 12 x 14 lawn shed and extended the patio per the prints, in accordance with Gulfport City Permits.
Our process for getting our shed built.
First, the crew removed the sod with a sod cutter and stacked it away from the job site in a neat orderly fashion to be used later. After that, they excavated to level the area for the foundation of the shed and dug out the footing. Meanwhile, They also installed some re-bar and a vapor barrier. In addition, they installed a re-bar and vapor barrier for the new patio. 27 X 13.6 feet. Finally, after the City inspection, they poured concrete for both the shed and the patio.
The next phase of construction is framing the outer walls and installing all ceiling joists. After the City did a second inspection, the synthetic underlayment was installed. As per HOA rules, the roof had to be built with an 8/12 pitch and installed with matching roof shingles to match the house pitch and shingles. Four vinyl windows, a 36 inches exterior door, and a 60 inches roll-up door were installed. For the exterior, We choose Hardie plank boards. Soon, they put on one coat of primer with two coats of paint of the color my wife and I picked out. Lastly, they installed rain gutters all around the lawn shed.

The General Contractor, Trent Sonier, and his crew did a fantastic job for us. The men were here every day and communicated with us on every step. As a result, They kept us informed on material orders and costs. They always kept us abreast of their expected schedule so we could make our own plans accordingly. We greatly appreciated this consideration. The crew always left with everything in its proper place and the area clean. Most importantly, We found an honest, hardworking Contractor to complete our project. We definitely will hire Aluminum Designs to install our laminate flooring. In conclusion, Aluminum Designs is able to do any remodeling or new construction you need. However, I plan to keep them busy for a while. You just don’t find good people like this anymore.
